Salome has been interviewed by the
United Arab Emirates magazine
STARS, appeared as cover and feature
in Jareeda magazine, in SAHDA from
Vancouver, Canada, selected for the
Cambridge Who's Who of Professionals,
and has been featured in countless
newspapers around the globe. Salome
appeared as feature model for renowned
Turkish costume designer Ismail of
Sim Moda Evi in the Turkish magazine
"DANS."
In the late 1970's Salome's mother,
Cynthia, took up "Belly dance." When
Salome was twelve she began formal
study of Oriental dance from
Kameal.
Salome went on to perform in Kameal's dance company "Bayt al Nejmah" alongside her mother.
By seventeen Salome was accepting
professional solo engagements.
